I know Mainieri wants him to get at bats, but he looked completely lost last night minus one liner. Why not bat him further down in the lineup? Don't get the obsession with putting guys at cleanup that don't really clean up. Beau Jordan and Wofford for example. Like the kid, think he's going to be great at LSU, but batting 4th isn't for someone taking lumps.

Also is Bryce Jordan in the doghouse?

Sorry, didn't know If I'd get in trouble for posting it before the game thread was up.

Wow, so back to back games with no Romero? What does this kid have to do to stay in the lineup?

Going 0-4 Thursday night probably didn't help.

That happens every now and then. Can't go 2-3 with a home run and 4 rbis every night.

This lineup makes absolutely ZERO sense.

How did 14 do last night?

I'm sorry, Brody just looks lost up there. That strikeout wasn't even close. Romero atleast has plate discipline and can usually give you QABs even in going 0-4.

Wofford looks clueless. Put Romero in.

Two strikeouts today so far. Nothing remotely close to solid contact. I think he'll be a great player for us, but just maybe not hitting cleanup against the #3 team in the country.

Romero must be in Paul's doghouse. And as usual, no one knows why

Playing Romero is too obvious. PM has to do something that makes him look "smarter" than everyone else. And he thinks that means doing things that don't make sense.
