No. O should not go with Myles under almost any circumstances. Why? Because if Max is the starter in 2021, he will be experienced enough to go for another championship run in 2022.

If Myles is the starter in 2021, then no one will be experienced enough to make another natty run in 2022.

Moreover, given all the eligible time remaining for Max to play, he could very well decide to transfer. I mean, there is no guarantee he will beat out Nussmeier in 2022 if he wasn't the starter in 2021.

Moreover, if Max transfers, we can also kiss Jake good bye as well.

No, they’re not more scared.

You have 2 SEC coaches who would like to steal Myles away from us if he enters to transfer portal.

I don’t think Myles will wait until then. Pretty sure he will go soon if they don’t name him as starter. Why would he wait to get screwed if they name Max as starter. There are other schools that would love to have him as a starter. Pretty sure coaches are drooling and waiting...

Coach O isnt letting Brennan go play elsewhere for 2 years at Tx A&M, Florida, Bama, or maybe Ole Miss. Fisher and Mullen would take Brennan right now if they could. Ole Miss and Bama would just for spite and to weaken LSU.

Who cares? If Myles is immobile at LSU, he will be just as immobile at A&M, Bama, Florida, Ole Miss, or Auburn. Indeed, if Fisher or Mullen would take him right now, then go for it.

Meanwhile, if Max Johnson is the starter in 2021, then Max Johnson will be very experienced and very ready to make another championship run in 2022.

However, if Myles is the starter in 2021, then no one will be ready to make another championship run in 2022.

In fact, Max may not even still be here by that time.

I can't see Brennan be successful in a new offense, if he does not win the job here.

Maybe not but it’s being reported locally that there is a good liklelyhood that other teams are going to be open door for him.

Consider that he’d be better than many other qb’s even without knowing their system 100%

Also consider that some coaches would be heavily criticized or even be fired if they didn’t try real hard to get him.
He’s going to get a lot of interest if Max is declared the starter

You do realize Myles has graduated and has 2 years of eligibility remaining.

Would you wait 2 more years if you are Max Johnson?

This is exactly why nobody has ever said Jim McMahon was a better quarterback than Joe Montana.

With Nuss here and Walker Howard on the way. He cando whatever he wants. Max isn't guaranteed anything. Myles starts this year then goes pro. Max stats battles Nuss for 2022, then Howard pushes them both.

LOL> Of course they did. What else would they say? This is absolute proof that they fear Myles and that Myles is the more dangerous QB option

Maybe not publicly. If we go through a majority of camp sharing 1st team reps between two qbs it will rear its ugly head during the regular season. We need all the offensive cohesion we can get this off-season.

coaches don't make starting QB decisions because they're trying to prevent a transfer. They pick the guy that gives them the best chance to win.

And if a QB isn't good enough to start for us, I doubt the coach would care much if that same QB transferred to one of our opponents.

Who gives a flip what 2 anonymous SEC coaches think about our QB's right now?

I don't recall any of them being particularly afraid of Joe Burrow going into 2019. After he torched their azz that year, they were singing a different tune.

It all depends on our running game and offensive line. If the Oline sucks like last year Johnson is the better option.

If we run the ball well, and have better protection Brennan is the better option to stretch the field.

*Added bonus* it shows seniors get rewarded, and Johnson Nussmeir have an extra year to develop.

Does this mean the rest of them are more scared of facing Myles?
