Didn't he lose to the same South Alabama team? Can we at least wait to see how they go head to head and who actually wins the SEC West or overall?

In all fairness, he has lost about 9 pitchers due to injury this year. Cannizaro should be coach of the year, ESPECIALLY if he ends up winning the conference or the West. Absolutely insane coaching job by him this year.

Yes, but he also beat them twice earlier in the season, each by two runs.

Absolutely agree. Also, would be willing to hold out judgement after more than just one season.
Edit: But it is obvious that he is missed this season by some of "our" woes at the plate and the lack of base stealing this season.

Not sure if joke or not but he has had more talent and won just about the same amount.
I do t get why people are saying they lost Cannizzaro. If CPM left last season he wasn't getting the job. Alleva values head coaching experience which I firmly agree with.

IF Andy and MSU do better in the tourney than CPM/LSU, and then do better in Regionals -- than CPM....
Then will you admit HE IS a better HC choice than staying with the current HC?
Certainly, if MSU gets to the CWS and wins games -- YES!!

I'm not saying USA is a juggernaut, but they're leading the Sun Belt and are several games ahead of last year's national champion. We weren't going to just mail it in and come out with a win. And yet we almost did
