Fla st has way more talent than lsu I get the coaching was bad but Fla st has some dogs out there that quite frankly we don’t have

He should absolutely say that every week. You can’t go into a game thinking otherwise.
Thinking it and saying it out loud are 2 different things.
Yes he should have the mentality that we can beat anyone, anywhere. He should not say that we are going to “Beat the heck out of” any team.

Dumb thing to say about beating a team pregame.

Maybe the HC should refrain from saying we will beat the hell out of a team.
You're kidding, right? Why wouldn't you want your coach to say that? You want him to say "We'll try our best but who knows"?
Are you a moron?

He looked over the hill and out of control on that sideline last night.

IMO it does call into question his ability to access talent. You're in Big Boy Football Country now, Brian. These losses are the kind of losses that drive away talent.

FSU has the #20th ranked roster going into 23'. They have 1 5* on the roster. LSU has the #7 ranked roster. LSU has 6 more 5* players and 11 more 4* players.
This means absolutely nothing
Verse Coleman and Fiske are 1st-2nd round talents and neither one was a 5 or 4 star

And coaching didn’t offer Coleman do who’s fault is that?
Posted on 9/4/23 at 12:00 pm to abellsujr
That’s not my point. I don’t care about who offers who
My point is that fla st has a way more talented team than lsu plain and simple

eah that was some O bull shite man. I thought we got away from that bull shite.
I didn't want to be the one to say it but yeah, that's what that sounded like.
I do think kelly is a very good coach, but he has stubborn tendencies and I was never a fan of Denbrock.
Posted on 9/4/23 at 12:01 pm to sunnydaze
Ok yeah. That may be true, but there’s no way the gap is or should be big enough for what we saw last night. Unless Florida State is about to make a 2019 run

That is a problem . Maybe he has a hard time accepting that others may know more in certain areas . But , JD is not a great QB .

Look at who actually played in the game. Maason Smith was ineligible. Denver Harris is either suspended or buried on the bench. Sage Ryan was a 5 star, but has been a bust. John Emery is another 5 star who really isn’t at that level, but also didn’t play due to suspension. Several other 4 and 5 stars are freshmen who aren’t in the rotation yet.
If you look at the depth charts and who actually played in the game, they had an edge in both talent and experience.

I’ve been skeptical of the coordinators from day 1.
House I was ok with, although I’m kind of starting to question that. Especially after the way Perkins was mishandled.
Haven’t liked Denbrock from Day One.

I agree. Let's see how many wins they can manage with 5 at QB.

I’m pretty sure they did, but we had a lot more returning experience than FSU did. He was an instant starter there. He may have been here too over Lacy, but there was more competition here. Any maybe they paid more.
