Clearly, Nichols was the most physical team out there, and we are almost at their level, so I would feel comfortable too

He's saying that it made more sense to take what Nicholls was giving them by throwing it 38 times (vs. 17 carries by RB's) and not that LSU couldn't run effectively because the OL wasn't physical. And the OL also hasn't given up a sack through 2 games either.
