Don’t be surprised (if JD struggles against Tennessee) to see Walker Howard play. TN is the 124th of 130 teams in defense against the pass. That’s worse than New Mexico after we played them. And probably as bad as several secondaries Walker played against in HS.
Walker has 3 more games to play and preserve his RS, and Kelly wants this win badly. If JD doesn’t light up TN, it might be the Howard show, but Kelly will have to then bench Walker against better defenses to preserve his RS.

If Kelly puts in Walker to try to beat top 10 Tennessee in Game 5, the redshirt is 10000% done. If Daniels, after all this talk and frustration still can’t pull the trigger and we go down by a couple of scores, it wouldn’t surprise me for him to go a different direction. But unless Howard is getting a ton of reps this week, it’ll be Nuss. And of he is, we’d have heard about it by now.
I do think l, at this point, Kelly is willing to give the team a chance and lose 41-17 by throwing some picks rather than settling for keeping the score a more respectable 2 score game with no real chance of actually winning.
If Daniels is holding the ball after 2 or 3 possessions and we’re going 3 and out while Tennessee is scoring on every one of theirs, I don’t think he’d be too scared to make a change. Who cares if you lose by 50 or 25 as long as you give your team a chance? But Howard ain’t playing without getting prep reps unless Daniels can’t pull the trigger and Nuss gets hurt.

There needs to be some context here. Not saying UT is great at pass defense, but they have the best offense in college football and don’t turn the ball over. They get out to big leads that aren’t gonna be overcome by running the ball. I’m sure a lot of those passing yards are because they’re too behind and have to give up on running the ball.

You said he would replace him with the third string qb. 0.0350 chance that would happen. That is why everyone is bashing you. It’s not going to happen.
If you would say if daniels struggles you think he would make a change, that’s much more likely. He isn’t playing Howard against Tennessee unless jd and nuss get hurt.

How come it seems like every time we play a team ranked low like this, they shut us down.
Just like last week when everyone said Auburn had no offense, they had one of their best offensive games this year.

LSU could be down 21-0 to start the 2nd and Daniels would stroll back on the field as QB after producing one 1st down and 15 yards in our 3 possessions.
The offense is an abysmal debacle and is not going to mysteriously improve at the midpoint of the season.
