Tennessee went through something similar with Jeremy Pruitt. Honestly, it’ll all blow over and a settlement will be reached eventually. But god I just really hate Brian Kelly

This is an embarrassment to LSU. We are a joke.

It appears LSU thought throwing out “not officially terminated” and “former AD didn’t have authority” would pressure Kelly into accepting a lump sum deal. Someone should probably inform LSU that you don’t have much negotiation power after ink touches paper on a 100MM contract..

Fair enough. I’m surprised by the overwhelming sentiment that we should just pay him. He really fricked us. But ok.

Nobody is saying that he didn’t frick us. But you can’t just not honor a contract because you feel like it. That’s the whole point of signing a contract.

He didn't write the contract. We did. He just signed it.

i agree. But if it’s legitimate cause, then that’s something different.

You also have to hold the shite head accountable here if we’re being real. He can’t just come in and frick the whole system. A settlement will have to be reached.

So let’s wait and see the cause if true.

It wil probably be settled ultimately. Kelly’s camp is also being a shite head for releasing this info publicly. frick that clown. He’s begging to be exposed.

They're really going to try and drag him for personal stuff to get this done

And all Kelly's Attorneys will have to do is point a finger at Ausberry and ask why wasn't he fired for covering up Title IX infractions?

You think Kelly is afraid of skeletons in the closet while he brings media attention and files a lawsuit to his claim?......lmao. He's not worried....he's got a slam dunk case.

If there was legitimate cause, I would hope that our attorneys would have included that in the press conference or statement released. (or within 7 days as the contract reads) Bringing it up this late, makes it look even more sleazy. Having said that, it seems like our state is ran by a bunch of stupid individuals that are not good at their job

You really think so? Or is he banking on LSU looking stupid for not paying? LSU is the only one to lose here. So they’ll probably pay. But there’s no slam dunk case I can guarantee that. After all of the smoke around his divorce. No way. But maybe we will have to pay because yall are right ultimately. We’re the ones with the most to lose.

I swear to God nobody in this university or state has ever heard of optics. I hate BK with every fiber of my being but it’s better to just pay him to frick off, accept you made a really shitty contract, and move forward. The more this shite drags out, the more we become a national laughingstock and the less chance any coach worth a shite will want to come here. You would have thought those in charge would have figured this out in the past 2 weeks.

LSU is actually making BK into a sympathetic figure.

Seems like LSU hasn’t formally terminated BK

Then how can LSU justify Frank Wilson's appointment as interim coach? How was Wilson allowed to have press conferences amd be on the sideline as "head coach"?

Total shitshow.
