We just curb stomped some cripple kids. I love it when LSU runs all over people but that isn’t sustainable against good defenses.
I dont Know is E is going to be good or not, but he hasn’t put together a playbook in 20 years. He wants to run a lot of modern concepts but we aren’t putting anyone around him who has experience running those concepts.
It’s sorta a big question mark.

I wish LSU could just recruit a quarterback like every other school and have an order of succession. It's the same crap every year.
Who gonna start? Who can throw the ball 10 yards and not have it sail 20 ft over heads?
Instead, we invite two opposing skill sets into the program every year and essentially say to them and our offense "Now kissth". It's a cringey disaster every year like clockwork.

We may already have our guy. We just don't know how these 2 freshman will develop in their second years.
The talent is there with Brennan. He just needs to make big strides before next season.
We'll have a pretty good idea what type of team we have in week 1

This is right on! And exactly what miles did that got him fired! History repeating itself. Coaching is just the same as miles! All the same things! (Clock mgt is MUCH better so I will give him props for that) but all else is exactly the same

Probably why other offensive assistant/consultant guys were hired if I had to guess. I would think he will function more as a play caller than anything else.

I really hope Brennan or Narcisse and this WR crew can look like they know what they're doing. It could be a lot of fun. Aranda on top of the defense, should be pretty good. Backfield mysteries, but opportunities.

Have you not watched LSU for the past 10 years? We are paper thin at QB. We have no depth. The days of Flynn waiting 5 years to play are over. Your kidding yourself if you think Brennan and Narcisse both finish at LSU.
Justin Rogers is your answer by the way. Top 50 kid from Shreveport where E was his recruiter. Keep putting all your eggs into 1 QB basket, that’s never hurt LSU before.

Jerry Sullivan was only an OC for 1 year in 2003
Doug Nussmeier runs an old school Pro Style and hasn’t had a good offensenin a while.
We didn’t put guys around him that have run the type of offense he described.

Not to mention our coaches our looking in the 2019 class for a QB right now. Since you have everything down, I guess you can run one of the biggest football programs in the country.
