It seems every year we have a young guy that has gotten little playing time throughout the season have a breakout game in our bowl, and everyone can't wait to see said player starting/getting a lot of PT the next year.

Who do you guys think it may be this year?

I pray, for the next 3 years of our program, that it is either Harris or Jennings.

J/K. I see this game going like the bowl against Penn St. except we win late.

There are not a lot of guys who LSU leans on that could have a breakout performance. On defense, everyone knows all of the guys who play and rotate in and they have all done their job. On offense, I think the only kids that could be considered breakouts would be dupre or Quinn if they have their beat game as a tiger. I don't see that being that likely, but I hope they have a solid game. On defense, Travonte Valentine if he plays, which I think is unlikely as well.

Valentine didn't travel, so he's out of the picture. This is why I asked the question. I don't really see anyone having a breakout game, just wondering if you guys felt any of our young guys would.

Indeed. He'll catch one pass for 12 yards and a first down.

I think Williams will get a lot of carries as we prep him for a bigger role next year. He'll be taking over Hilliard's touches most likely.

Would love to see that we used the weeks of bowl prep to find ways to get our TEs more involved as well, but yeah, we all know how that movie ends. I'll believe it when I see it.

As for the defense, would love to see any or all of Bain, Herron and Gilmore have more of a presence.

TD gonna TD 2 or 3 times on bombs against ND. They have no one to cover him, and the 1 pass Jennings is decent at is down the field.

Rape...? I'd rather have him on the team and not in prison next year.

Hopefully the QB position, but I won't hold my breath.

Not breakout players but I think Fournette has a big game to carry momentum into next year and Hilliard shows out in his return and final game in the p&g.
