Breakout Candidates

Who is your breakout candidate next year?
Offense: Ja'Marr Chase - he flashed all year. Just need to be consistent, continue to improve as a blocker and we need to feed him.
Defense: This one is tough. I'm going with Neil Ferrell. He needs to take the next step. The talent is there I think.
Honorable Mention: Micah Baskerville - he had some freshmen struggles no doubt. But hes a thumper, hes got the size and he didn't really look out of place out there as a freshmen. I'll stop short of saying he flashed, but I think he's going to be a good one.

Terrace Marshall. We’ve seen flashes of his athleticism—an offseason to develop more chemistry with Burrow and the other receivers is going to be huge.

Breakout makes me think it is a player "on the cusp" of greatness. I'll say these:

Tyler Shelvin if he matures this spring and summer. He has the natural stebgth to blow up offensive lines if he is in shape.
