Ok....so maybe it wasn't all on the coaching and the offense.

I would say it's unfortunate, but luck has nothing to do with it.

Those stats have been par for course at LSU for the past 5 years.

If there is anything Harris does well, it is the intermediate/deep ball. Having 7 completions for 60 yards implies you're not exactly working with his strength.

Still no excuse for that last throw. That was bad.

Guy completes a few easy throws and he is "having a nice drive" as he barely crosses mid field. Then you see the interception and remember why he isn't here anymore.

About the same production we got from him. Was really hoping he would show improvement

Accurate passing to get them down the field in scoring range, and he throws that bullshite into coverage that leaves you scratching your damn head. I'm like wtf, Brandon?? Lol

Most of his completions have been for under 10 yards. He has missed wide open guys down field.

Maybe, but I'm not really sure Harris proves anything about Etling or the LSU offense in 2017.

I hope they're prolific, but I'm cautiously optimistic.

It was the coach, they could not evaluate or recruit a quality quarterback. Being a quarterback requires more than just being able to throw far and run fast. You can get away with being a dumbass quarterback in high school and make it on athletic ability but once you get the college you have to have it between the ears if you don't you get exposed.

That overthrow in the end zone was an accurate throw, just a poor decision to float it. The WR stopped running. A bullet would have been an easy TD. Imagine that, Harris put too much tough on the pass.

Sounds about right with Harris, can make most of the throws, but can't seem make them when they're needed.

Or the receivers. I remember the rule on the Rant was that if the receiver could fully lay out and touch the ball with his fingernail then he should have caught it and we count it as a "drop".

Exactly. I'm not even hoping for prolific. Efficient will do.

Harris didn't play football until like his JR year in HS. The dude just didn't understand the game and still doesn't. He's too cocky to be humble and just admit that he doesn't get WTF is going on.
