Dude gets around. Will he be here for more than a year?

He has a 3 year contract and this job is a little different than all the others. He'll be here a minimum of 3 if he does a good job.

That’s pretty common for young coaches. Start off as a GA, then bounce around

I don’t view this as a bad thing. It means he has established contacts in multiple recruiting areas.

I’d be concerned he was taking significantly less money and leaving, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.

Weirdly enough, as he's gone through those schools the caliber of his employers has trended upward.

It's almost like a young coach starting from scratch (without the nepotism benefits many enjoy) has to bounce between D2/FCS programs and climb to prove himself worthy of better gigs.

If he does well at LSU, expect him to be a longtime OL coach. It is his home after all

I would love to see Austin Deculus moved to right guard with Cameron Wire taking over the right tackle position.

I also wouldn't mind seeing Ed Ingram taking over the center position and Anthony Bradford taking over the left guard position.

So we return all the starters and you want to move them all to a new position?

Go checkout how abysmal the running game was last season and then come back and apologize.

Our o line was pretty bad last year. I’m sure we’ll see some shake ups but nothing major. He compliments Peetz scheme well.

Would like to see you moved to another planet preferably Pluto. Deculus is not only not going to be moved to gaurd but is out best OT.

Yet another clueless bout Deculus clown on this site.

I like it. Especially Deculus playing inside where he belongs. I wonder if Ingram could handle the center position duties?

That isn’t saying much. Deculus has been very disappointing since day 1. Any DE with decent athleticism eats Deculus alive 9.5/10 times.

This seems like another typical "quick" hire by Coach O. We have seen several of these in his tenure. I know these guys are in a club and know each other well, but at least have a process to do the right hire. There is nothing in Davis' background that says he jumps within a year or 2.

He was the first hire that the Pit Boss made when he got the Arkansas job. I'll trust Pittman when it comes to offensive line coaching.
