Beau is overdue.
It's getting very hard to defend the Jordan boys. They are playing poorly.

you start halfway. if he looks like he has a beat on the ball, then you make your way back to the bag. buddy at the game says he was tagging the entire way. bad baserunning.
What fricking difference does it make if he tags as soon as the ball is hit or if he comes back? The fact is that ball is routine and should have been caught. If Freeman was caught off the bag and the ball is caught then people would be asking how we didn't tag there.

I'm not a fan of blaming kids for coaching errors, but both Jordan twins need to sit, and it's mainieri's problem that he's not taking them out..

Beau swings at the first fricking pitch. This dude is lost

Please pinch hit for him next at bat. His at bats have been pathetic.

Can we just tell Beau to not swing to run pitch count up

Jordan twins have been a weak spot past few games

That is a fair criticism, but I fully assumed it would be caught off the bat and the entire time it was in the air. IDK what the RF was doing.

a big difference, assuming you don't know right off the bat that the ball will be caught or not.

Why do I have a funny feeling of a single and throw out at home?
Posted on 6/12/16 at 9:10 pm to themunch
Could the issue be that we havent seen anyone throw this slow in a while?

I think Paul's scared that Beau will whip his arse if he pulls him

I have seen baserunners tag on a play like that without having to directly stand on the bag initially. The ball was traveling the opposite way of the outfielder from where he would need to make the throw. With Cole's speed there is no way he would have caught the ball going opposite way.. turned around.. and thrown him out from that distance.. even if Cole was slightly off the bag and went back to tag up.
I think we are too coached up to play every situation a certain way.. when different situations call for different actions.. Just like always sending the runner home on 2 outs.. there are certain types of hits that the runner still has no chance at scoring from 2nd.. even with 2 outs. I just hate we got conservative with our best fastest baserunner there on that hit. I believe he scores even with the initial intentions of tagging. but whatever. We can't seem to win these decisions no matter which course of action we take..
