Absolutly. If we can't play tomorrow it really puts us in a tough spot pitching wise for the supers

If we can't play tomorrow, the best thing would be if all the games get rained out. With us being top seed and a win we'd be the NCAA pick (most likely)

How so? Throw Poche first if you need to, he will have a week or more rest. If Lange pitches Monday, pitch him second and he'll have at least six days rest, assuming the SR starts on Saturday.

Yep. We'll be fine if we get our game in tomorrow and get a Sat-Sun-Mon super. Anything else puts Lange on short rest.

I'd hate to see that though. That's really shitty for the other teams

Meh. They had some semblance of control over their fate the last 4 months

It wouldn't be the end of the world but Lange and our game 3 starter would be on short rest which isn't ideal

It would be really weird, I haven't ever seen anything about a regional being decided that way. Closest thing anyone found was speculation about a Super a few years ago, that ended up being played out.

No way in hell NCAA doesn't pick the undefeated one seed to move forward if the regional gets rained out.

Agree, I'm ready for some Tiger baseball!!! Went to our local AA games to watch Bregman to fill the void while the rain fell in BR.

How'd Bregman look? Is he still tearing it up?

Yesterday 2/4 with 2 singles. First one was bounced off the wall and should have been a double but great play by OF held him up. Today 0/4.

He's looked good playing 3rd

I can't be too hard on Vandy, considering what they've been through.

Ole Miss on the other hand...

I just don't trust WAFB and Weather.com as much as Weatherbug nowadays. Seems they are often overly optimistic when Weatherbug is usually closer to accurate without optimism. Few weeks back WAFB stated no storms before Florida game while Weatherbug painted a much different picture, and we know how that Thursday game played out.

Not saying definitive one way or another but Weatherbug shows not good situation from 1 pm to 10 pm tomorrow night. We shall see.
