Do we start to consider someone else at 3B? Other then being hit more than any 2 staters combined, and being the guy who does the sac bunts...Ibarra really isn't a threat at the plate. It's been two months since he last HR, and frankly...it's almost become a sure out one way or another. He's a senior and I respect his defense but maybe a younger player needs to go ahead and get in there. He caint do any worse.
Whats the most games anyone on the roster has played at 3B in the last two years besides Ibbarra?
No way you pull him.

You need to somehow un-jinx yourself before the game.

Good God.

Ibarra makes plays on defense and has been a staple to the lineup the past 2 years. Watch him get 3 hits today.

In which case I will have jinxed myself, and when I call for someone to play shitty...they will shine. I hope you are right SoS.

You don't need to look any further than Hammond to understand the importance of defense. You don't mess with that left side of the infield under any circumstances. We're playing SLU last night if they could play any semblance of defense out there.

I looked it up
He started 122 out of 124 games in the last 2 seasons. Sure feel free to stick someone else at 3B.

Ibarra has made spectacular plays at 3rd. One's that I'm not sure many others could make. Everyone slumps, maybe he'll bang a fatty today.

Ibarra is 3 for 7 against Houston.

Hypothetical: Cartwright goes five strong and is up 2-0. Who goes out for the sixth?
ETA: He's at 75 pitches

And 4th highest on base % on the team. Higher on base % than Hale and Stevenson over the last 10 games. Bench him

Depending on where they are in the lineup, either Bugg or Faucheux
Posted on 6/2/14 at 12:41 pm to AstroTiger
We could potentially see Cartwright, Bugg, Person, Fury, Devall, and Faucheux correct?

I don't think he'll get used again unless we are in a pickle.

I hope we give McCune the ball and he can redeem himself. He feels 10,000x worse than anyone on this board about last night. Really don't want him to have a bad taste in his mouth potentially going into Supers/Omaha.
