This is where the lightning rule is stupid. The storm has come through, and a strike hits 7.75 miles northeast of Alex Box and moving away so we have to wait 30 minutes from that point before any preparation can begin.
Another case of where a rule has good intentions but discretion should be able to trump the rule.
