Minnesota and Nebraska finished with more impressive seasons than Michigan, yet it appears Michigan will be getting a Gator invite above both - based on name recognition, fan support and TV appeal

How would you feel if LSU got stuck in the Chick Fil'A Bowl just so ESPN could get the matchup it wanted?

I would pity the CFA committee and the massive hole in their bank account that would create.

My question is, why is our AD letting this happen to us two years in a row? Is he doing anything besides sitting on his butt and trying to raise ticket prices? This is getting old

Well considering that the Outback Bowl is a better bowl than the Gator Bowl I would take it I'm heartbeat. But I guess they're all shite in the grand scheme of things. I'm just tired of LSU being the school to get shitted on so they're can be good match ups. Two years in a row now.

Oh I agree. But that was in response to the poster suggesting only SEC teams got moved around

Why is it always the SEC that has to adjust to make the games more interesting? I don't see a whole lot of effort by the Big 10 to move teams around.

There is NO WAY NO HOW that Iowa gets selected before Michigan and Penn State. That's why they're getting aTm. I guarantee you that they told the Outback that they didn't want to go there again.

a team ranked 14th in the polls actually playing a team in top 30 in polls

I would bet a billion dollars Iowa got selected over Penn State. In fact I would bet the outback would have offered Tulane an invite before Penn State this year

Chick- Fil-a bowl source says the bowl expected to have Texas AM/duke. The Outback surprised them by taking TAMU, so CFA bowl changed mind.

Interesting

If the SEC can break order and have A&M go ahead of us

"Order" doesn't go in terms of best teams or conference standings. The order is just the order the bowls get to pick in. The Outback wants A&M and JFF so they took them. The SEC has nothing to do with it.

Wait, Outback picks before TAMU, how could Chickfila change their mind?
