Would anybody know if LSU would be home or away at any Bowl games this bowl season or would it be by particular bowl games association with conferences “home” one year “away” team the following year? Just tying to figure out in advance for purchasing bowl tickets for some retired military soldiers. Thanks

No shite.

I think OP was asking how do they determine which team is the "home" team and which one is "away"

All that really determines in a bowl game is which team calls heads or tails in the coin toss.

I'm note sure if they flip a coin or goes by highest ranked team, but it won't be determined until they figure out which bowl they go to.

Even though bowl games are at neutral sites. One team will be designated as the “Home Team” and the other “Vistors”. Trying to make sure on the LSU side of the field! Just clarifying my statement. Thanks

I thought it was pretty clear, but I guess not for the average Rantard.

By the time the bowls are announced wherever LSU goes... that particular venue should know which side would be lsu’s

does Florida get the Sugar Bowl ahead of us if Georgia beats Bama somehow or if Georgia barely loses to Bama and gets in as the #4? Not sure if the Sugar has to take the highest ranked SEC team available after playoff spots are filled or if it is more subjective than that.
