Perhaps he's as sick of this mediocrity as most fans are.

Just a fricking thought

For an LSU great, he certainly is negative about it.

so if someone disagrees with you, you want him to shut up?

Good luck with that attitude out in the real world.

Yeah, Booger has absolutely no inside track to info about LSU. Don't be so f'n dense! And quit taking everything so f'n literal.

He never said that he spoke to the entire team and that the majority said that would quit. He was speaking as an analyst and former player of this university. I'm sure he is pretty up-to-speed happening all things LSU.

What he said is no different than saying that the entire LSU fanbase will turn against Miles if Harris runs out there first.

Or possibly he's tired of seeing his alma mater brought down by poor decisions.

Exactly

Let Booger say what he wants, he isn't more loyal to another program than LSU. Maybe he's saying that because he IS loyal to LSU. Everyone complained that ESPN rode LM's jock and created negative pub last year by claiming LM is the victim. Now we have our guy, Booger, basically putting blame on Les and calling it like he sees it and people still bitch. Booger is essentially saying that if a change is made, then do NOT fault LSU, fault the head man himself.

You f'n people kill me!! The only way to get the change that we need is be vocal. We need change! Start with the QB and then the offense. If that's not enough then you change the coach.

I don't know. I think the vast majority of people who post their opinions here get their ducks in a row and do their due diligent research before putting their analysis out there for the internet to see.

What the hell board are you looking at?

I never take too much stock in what he says. He was a decent player from the DiNardo era who loved Saban although I'm positive that he never played for him.

I'd like to see Booger coach...see how he crashes that buffet cart.

I agree... When DE went in, Jamal Adams told him, "We got you." I think players are rallying behind DE and if Harris trots out Saturday, it might get ugly.

There is nothing this place loves more than a good QB controversy and conspiracy theory. Either A) It is absolutely clear to the team that Elting should start, therefore I can guarantee you that he will start, or B) It isn't clear to the team and staff who should start, therefore I can guarantee you there won't be some kind of revolt regardless of who plays.

People said the same shite during the JL/JJ stuff and it was bullshite then and it's bullshite now. The team wants the best guy for the job to play. If the team knows who that guy is, the staff does too. Miles and company deserve criticism for a ton of shite, but this idea that they play favorites when there is a clearly better player available is asinine.

it is just one element of the drama that LSU fans love. like I said, we are like 13 year old girls at a slumber party. if there isn't any drama, START some.

Besides, what kind of inside info from the football offices would alert you that the team will quit on Les? Did Booger take a poll of the players?

The kind of source who may have his ear to the door of the locker room and miles is being oblivious to it or just straight up ignoring. Leaking this info to the media then puts a little pressure on miles to perk up.

Well, there may not be if LSU didn't get the most inconsistent horrible QB play in the NCAA.

Come on man, you're smarter than this. For the team to quit on him, he has to play Harris over Etling despite the majority of the team wanting Etling to start. If it is that obvious to the team, it is obvious to the staff and Etling will be the starter and this won't be an issue.

In other words, if Les starts Harris over Etling, he isn't going to be doing so against the wishes of the majority of the team, and certainly not to the point that they'll quit on him.

Booger is discussing a situation that simply will not happen.

How do you know that?

Simply because of the subject of his statement. It should be obvious that there is none.

I also watch him on SECN, and he will just say things that lead me to have that opinion.

I don't think he hangs out at the LSU football OPs building, and he is two administrations removed from the program.
