I guess that explains why he is coaching now in San Antonio...

I'll never forget the 2004 Sugar Bowl, 2003 BCS NC game, vs OK and his halftime comments. A reporter basically commented about them being dominated, and their QB having NO success vs the Tiger D, how do you fix it? He was mumbling, stumbling, and bumbling as he tried, and tried, to get coherent words out. And of course our TIGERS won the NC!

It's defintely changing. The SEC is putting put some very good offenses now.

The biggest difference is the defenses are still competent in this league.

Stoops said it' easy to have great defenses when you lack great offenses and great Qb's.
this makes no sense.

NCAA talking bowl bans with the new endorsement bill. No coach will go to usc if that happens

Urban 1, Stoops 2.

The jury is out on Taggart as a coach, but evidently Jimbo stunk it up in recruiting the last 2-3 years. Their roster is atrocious.

LMAO. Well since Meyer has already quit once on his team and was under contract, this is a no brainer.
Was it Saban, Miles or a combination of the 2 that made lil Urbby's stomach get all anxious. The boy couldnt even eat or sleep supposedly.

Poor guy couldnt coach again ever per the Doctor. Oh My what a shame.
But the first day the easiest sports job in America came open, Meyer had the most remarkable recovery of all time.

You couldnt get Urb back in the SEC with a crowbar and 10 million a year.

Prime example - 77-0 vs TAMU

Let's just talk about that some more, shall we?

Notes: it was 77-0 at the end of the third quarter, so on pace for 103-0

Sooner backfield perfected an interesting new play in the 4th quarter called "run 1-2 yards up the middle and fall down"

I was at the Tennessee game-watch in Houston (forgot the place, but near Washington Street, though) and they upset Miami that day, and the Sooners-Aggies was on the other TV. We watched in disbelief.

Why in the world would ND get rid of their present coach. A national BCS title game against Alabamafter the 2012 season and the college football playoff undefeated last season. Dumd thinking.

UCLA, Nebraska or Tenn might beat FSU to the coach hiring line.
