“ O haters”
Hating Coach O is not the problem. Displeasure with the process that gave us coach O and his results, both on and off the field, is the problem.
Firing a successful coach who is still recruiting well, having winning seasons, and having nationally ranked teams can be a trauma for any program. When you replace the coach with someone who has a significant negative head coaching resume, that significantly increases be possible trauma to the program.
Expecting fans who are heavily invested in the success of the LSU football program not to react negatively when it’s pretty obvious that the fire and hire process went wacko someplace is pretty naïve.
The bitching will become less and less when the product becomes better and better. That hasn’t happened since all of this started in November 2015. Imo

So SEC Championship next year right?
If that scrub Saban can win one in his second year at LSU without everything Bama gave him, clearly O should be able to.

Hahahahaha Saban also lost to Miss State in his first year at Bama...
Maybe we should've snagged Sly Croom instead of Orgeron.
Or perhaps John Blake? He was a career DL coach, too.

It took Saban 3 years.....he started at LSU in 2000
2017 was O’s first year......year one.....

Saban’s genius was realizing all those dual threat QB’s coming out of LA could be converted to LB’s, WRs.....

Saban’s coaching career is not so much a reflection of his coaching abilities, but rather the privileges bestowed on him by the Bama athletic organization So don’t show me his numbers...they mean nothing to me....

Year 2 hasn’t started yet....anything can happen.....
But go ahead and turn off all potential recruits that read this board....let them know how you hate the Cookie Monster....

Perceived bad decisions, not bad decisions yet, we have to wait and see.

I think Cookie monsters record is turning them off enough.

Kirby Smart had a winning. HC record
Oh still doesn’t.
Apparently kids can find tiger droppings but not Wikipedia.
Maybe being a cartoon character works better for a DL coach than a HC.

The negative comments on this board are like self-fulfilling prophesies...
You are helping to create recruiting losses...
You are hurting LSU and you call yourself a fan...?

O pumpers say you should just shut up and take whatever happens to the program without complaint.
What's the difference between O Pumpers and Milestards??

You guys go beyond complaining....
I’m sure there were some unhappy GA fans that were disappointed in Smart’s 9-4 debut season...
But this takes the cake man.....bunch of spoiled brats....

One group actually had a history of success to point to, and the other doesn’t.
But I’m not either one.

Miles came to LSU with a wining record as a head coach and then preceded to put together the best run in program history.
Defending Miles for a long time was a good call and one he had earned.
Orgeron...well, I'm not exactly sure anyone can honestly defend even his hire.
That's the difference as far as I'm concerned.

Les must've been a miraculous recruiter then.

I actually think that Miles could have stayed on & succeeded at LSU if they would have recruited the OL and DL better.....then we could have competed against Arkansas and Ole Miss....in his last 3 years
