I’m 100% blaming the any failure by LSU Basketball this year on Joe Alleva. It’s all carry over from last year’s shite show. We missed on recruiting because of it. I’m backing Wade this year. He is putting in work and strong arse offers to get good recruits for next year. We are doing better than expected this year.

I’m blaming Alleva for the hire of Orgeron and Wade.

Come on man. Alleva hasn't made us turn the ball over, take stupid shots or miss 3 pointers. Wade is the coach and just like in any other sport the wins and losses are on him.

Check the recruiting board. Wade got a 4star top 100 player to recruit today.

It is what it is at this point with that said-

These last two games probably go differently if we have Lester quinones taking minutes rather than Marshall graves.

Put him or nflay Dante on this team and we have pull out at least one to two more games IMO.

Lester would provide more spacing and would help give solid minutes with mays or smart on bench.
Dante would solve our length issues.

Sure all of that would help. But, we've had an opportunity to win every game we've played this year. I think it's a cop out to blame any kind of outside people for losses. Sounds like excuses to me.

One of our best defenders has been out the past 2 games also... we are a couple players away from a contending team. I’m not saying that wade and our guys couldn’t have done better. They could have and should have. But it would be easier with a few better recruits putting in minutes as well

Sure. But isn't his practical domininance of the SEC in hoops kinda ring a bell?

He's most certainly the right man for the job.

Of course he's the right man for the job. Where are you making this connection from what I posted?

ake stupid shots or miss 3 pointers.

We don't take stupid shots, we just complain when they don't fall.

He does share some of the blame in regards to recruiting. His actions in response to some yahoo news article that ended up being nothing are inexcusable.

I agree Alleva was a spineless frick.
You realize you’re blaming Alleva for being first in the sec?
I get your intent is to blame him for only the losses though. Which is completely rational.

I'm blaming Charlie Strong and Tom Herman and Eddie Nunez for the hire of Orgeron and Wade.

If Strong doesn't stink it up at Texas, he doesn't get fired. If he doesn't get fired, Texas doesn't try to hire Tom Herman while he's in "talks" with Alleva about the LSU job. If Alleva doesn't stink it up and run away scared from the contract talks with TH because Texas comes calling, (And because he has no promotional, marketing, salesmanship and negotiating skills) Tom Herman is probably the HC at LSU right now.

If Eddie Nunez didn't have a background in college basketball, (He played at Florida) and have knowledge of who's the talented up and coming young coaching prospects are, we absolutely get stuck with another bad Alleva hire. JA had absolutely nothing to do with getting Will Wade to LSU......
