Of course now have Saban play ULM or UAB and lets see what happens...

If I recall we lost to UAB under Nick Saban.

Miles completely sucked the life out of the fans because they came to expect and accept sub-par, boring football.

Let me see if I have this straight: The most successful, winning-est, championship filled decade in LSU football history was boring and life-sucking?

I guess that just sucks for you, really. I had a great time the last 11+ years. The Golden Age of LSU football is the Legacy of Les Miles.

I always go back to one of the worst losses in LSU history. And I will never forget the week after losing to a bad Florida team at home with the offense being shut out - by Ron Zook! The next day on local sports radio, caller after caller called for firing Coach Saban. This was 2003.

I guess some fan bases never change.

Miles football certainly hasn't helped the attendance problem....but more of a function of time constraints and TV.

All fans are pretty much the same. There's nothing particular about the LSU fan that makes him leave early.

The best scenario for these idiots is Coach O to run the table, win a NC, and immediately get fired.

A NC and TWO head coach firings in one season!!! It's damn near orgasmic.

You two clowns are either post-2005 fans, or you just never were able to go to a game in Tiger Stadium before then.

Especially Jester, because every point he contended is obvious to anyone who has been in Tiger Stadium before the leave early era began.

The amenities in ,and around, TS are light years ahead of where they were in the 80's, 90's, and early to mid 2000's. Back when shite fans like you two weren't so prevelant.

You kids do realize that LSU games were on TV quite a bit each year, well before this "leave early" mentality started, don't you?

Did you also know that most games were started later than they are now?

7:00 pm... sometimes later (GASP!)

How did the people do it way back in 2002??

I just told you I've had the same 4 tickets since I was old enough to walk in the stadium and up to Sec 410. My first game was 1986-1987.

I just don't have distorted memories as to those experiences. Most nights were arse-whoopins. The occasional Saturday night created lore and memories (Auburn, Florida, etc...). but most of the time we were losing. And yes, people regularly left before the game ended. You denying that for nostalgia's sake doesn't make it not true.

That is also why, when Saban arrived, people did start staying. When he beat ARK in 2003 the entire stadium was still there at 00:00 chanting his fricking name! Winning puts asses in the seats, and keeps them there, and we haven't seen that consistently since 2011-2012. Which is about how long the leaving early thread shave been back in play.

And compared to other SEC stadiums today?

No you didn't. There was nothing fun about the past three seasons of LSU football.

Our Golden Age compared to the Golden Age of others isn't all that exciting.

How many blowout arse whippings have we taken since 2000?

What amenities do you want? My last SEC road game was 2006 Tennessee... there was NOTHING better at Neyland as there is at LSU.

Again, what amenities do you need in the stadium to have your candy arse stay in your seat to support the team?

I'd take the time to look that up if it had one iota of relevance.

Or just ask when the last Arkansas or Alabama game was?

Or, I just don't get butthurt over a football game. Especially when the program is at the height of its success.

It has more to do with going to football games when Curly and DiNardo were head coaches. That was a decade of football when LSU lost just about every big game just about every single time. Most of us never thought we would compete for titles.

I went to every home game when Saban was the head coach, and there were plenty of ugly wins and bad losses. That is just part of college football; it doesn't matter which program you follow, there are going to be shitty games.

Arkansas last year we had a 7 point deficit in the third quarter, fans were filing out. A 10 point deficit with 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, the place was becoming an empty cavern.

You don't even know how the last few Alabama games went in Tiger Stadium.

You suck. Fans like you suck.
