When I was a young tike sitting through the Denardo era, my dad never left games early on my account unless I was sick, which only happened once and it was a brutally hot day game verses Kentucky.

During the Saban era, we would leave early sometimes during blowouts, but never until the 4th quarter, and never on my account.

The worst traffic I've ever had to deal with to date is still 2007 against Virginia Tech. We stayed until the end and were trapped in the hayfield lot for 3 hours waiting for a cop to let us out.

All the stoppage of play with timeouts and the terrible blaring noise coming out of the loudspeakers.

That's what keeps me out these days. It's a horrible atmosphere to watch a college football game anymore.

Could care less about "Parents" with kiddie problems. Leave em at home with a baby sitter or with friends and keep your Candy A in the Stadium or better yet, just stay home and give the tickets to friends who will stay and not embarrass the University................

We couldn't care less what you think. When my daughter is old enough to enjoy games, I will take her and leave when she is ready. My daughter comes way before your feelings.

no.... the stadium started to change when TAF fees on seats were implemented and increased.

signed a season ticket holder since 1993

This, the stadium has a lot more money fans now. People with money can afford to "waste" a ticket. The poors don't have the option of going as often, so they are way more likely to stay. The current administration has been in money grab mode from the onset and has priced out those folks for the most part with fees, ticket prices, and parking costs. It's kind of a catch 22 when keeping up with the Joneses.

Nah. Plenty of blame to go to Les on the football end of things, but honestly, people leaving early is more of a function of today's society and technology and how ridiculously longs games are. People don't have the attention spans they used to, watching a game on TV in the comfort of your own home is in many ways better when it isn't a premier game, and the games are so damn long.

I think it's a combination of both this and the OP's reason. I for one lost interest in attending because of the product on the field....I would give up my entire day for LSU football and leave the stadium feeling like I was robbed by Les. Heck, even watching the games on TV in the last 5 years hasn't been as good. Last year (for the first time in my life) I actually turned off a game in the 3rd quarter and didn't play the TV turn on/turn off game for the remaining hour until it finished....I just didn't care as much.

It's had nothing to do with wins/losses and everything to do with frustration over watching crap.

Or you can simply blame people for their own actions rather than looking for "someone else" to blame?

People are acting this way for a reason. Sitting in a stadium watching a team play sloppy, boring football for several years now has taken its toll

100% agree and this is exactly what I was referring to in my OP.

Everything you said is how I, and many people, felt during the last 3 years with Les

You should know better. So sick of you knuckle dragging mouth breathers talking about Miles

Miles sucked before he came to LSU, Miles sucked while he was at LSU, and MILES will suck anywhere else he goes.

No matter what you say, MILES IS GONE

NOW WHAT YOU GONNA DO ABOUT THAT

This OP is the epidomy of what's wrong with Tiger fans. We're so damn spoiled that routine 10-win seasons are "boring" and "sub-par". Yes, I do think it was time to move on from Miles. But he isn't the reason why fans are leaving. The reason is that fans don't appreciate a good thing when they have it.

LSU football under Miles, especially the last few years, was boring, frustrating football.

Football under Curly Hallman was horrific (16–28 (overall),10–21 (SEC), but more people stayed to support the players that were still on the field battling than do now.

A coaching staff, any coaching staff, is responsible for putting a product on the field that wins games. They are not responsible for pleasing the wims of you, me or anyone else.

Miles got canned for one overriding reason. 10 Ls in 2yrs and 4 games is not acceptable at LSU.

Anyone going to any stadium and not being content with an W or crying over a W cause it somehow not pretty enough for them has lost sight of the primary objective to any sporting event....winning!

Lets assume your reasoning is true....

These people that you are talking about, actually bothered to get dressed, drive down to campus, park, walk forever to get in the stadium, and sit for 30-45 minutes of football before leaving early. And that is if they left their house and went straight to the game. That doesn't include any of the other game day events that people take part in.....so my question is, why bother? If LSU football is that uninteresting to you (or anyone else), why not just stay the frick home?

Enthusiasm for live, in-person football attendance has been waning down all over the country, it isn't just an LSU problem, it's an everywhere problem.

I wonder if LSU fans will be as obsessed about Miles now that he is gone as they are about Saban.

No you didn't. There was nothing fun about the past three seasons of LSU football.

So he didn't have fun the last 11 years b/c of the past 3 years?

And there were plenty of fun moments in the past 3 seasons. You didn't have fun during any of these games:

2015:
Auburn and the LF7 show
#8 UF win at home with fake field goal
Beating the Aggies again
Texas Tech beatdown

2014:
Comeback win vs Wisky
Road win @UF and LF7's coming out party
Beating #3 Ole Miss at home - great night in Tiger Stadium
Beating the Aggies

And if you go back to 2013, that had plenty of "fun" experiences too.

The fact that you didn't is yet another representation of how miserable you are during every sporting event. You just completely melt.
