You lost me at “there would be no halfway” coach. Don’t let the door hit you in the arse.

Like him or not he left the program in a lot better place than Coach O did. That’s for sure

He should have said thank you for the money

He was 5-10 vs ranked teams while at LSU.

He also said he was keeping receipts and he'd see everyone in the playoffs this year

even if I don't agree with him being "all-in for LSU and Louisiana".

Does he really think this is the case?

Dear Brian Kelly,

I want to thank you for taking the time out the day from your golfing, drinking, and realtor shopping to say Good bye to us fans. You sold us diamonds and you shite out a bunch of quartz. You told us the bar was at the top but your example was sub par. You talked a lot of shite and your arrogance was toxic. You let one of the most passionate fan bases in the country down. We deserved better than what you gave us.

frick off.

Thanks,
Me.

yep, and he is going to try to get all of it.

Wouldn't you? That's the contract he signed.

Right. I’m not even sure how much trying he’s going to have to do. He’s owed the money pursuant to the contract and if LSU wants to negotiate for a lower payout, they’d better offer a pretty sweet deal.

its not classy when you do something for the self gratifying appearance of looking classy. classy would have been to actually have coached hard and prepared this team for a season the past 3 years.

The hire was a great coup when it was made. The narrative was he had hit a ceiling at Notre Dame and could not quite get the horses he needed to get over the hump and win a national championship. He would be able to do that at LSU. Jay Johnson knocked this narrative out of the park.

I don’t wish BK any ill, but I thought we were getting a coach who would establish a Saban-like culture of discipline and process. No, he did not wreck the program but it’s damn disappointing and frustrating that his tenure ended like it did.

One of the most disappointing aspects of his tenure. One can accept some losses, but rarely (especially this season) did our teams look disciplined or ready to play.
