Still salty over the in house kicking situation. The Lion don’t like others messing with his cubs. I’m the same way and so should every Lion out there. The name of a group of Lions is called PRIDE.

Bottom line it took BK longer than it should have to get the lay of the land here, at least for a coach getting paid what he is. He had to overcome some mess left over from the previous administration, but he made his own mistakes as well - LSU should never - ever have that poor a talent on defense - EVER.

I think he's FINALLY remedied that. He's significantly upgraded the defense at almost every position and the depth as well. This will be the most talented team he's had since he's been here and IMHO since the 2019 team, and I really don't think it's debatable.

Time to earn your money BK. I sure hope you do. We all do....well - the vast majority of us do.

Not keeping Corey Raymond on staff was his biggest mistake

Raymond wasn’t as effective as a coach or recruiter his last two seasons as what we are seeing from him right now.

I’ll take the pain of 23 if it brought us a completely reinvigorated and bought in Raymond. I’m not totally sure we have that if he is retained and both sides don’t get a taste of the grass not being so green on the other side.

Because you’re from Louisiana and graduated from LSU and that’s not what we do. Any of us. Would you ever hold your fricking hand like that when referencing Louisiana or LSU?

He didn't retain Greg McMahon as Special Teams coach either. Huge mistake, as ST's have been a disaster!

Idiot. If you keep him, Sloan isn’t hired and working with Daniels because we wouldn’t have had an extra staff slot for offense.

Polian was useful handling the portal, but he should have been an analyst. Making HIM head if ST was the mistake.

This is a moot point now with recent rule changes that allow analysts to coach on the field, but this limitation was still in place at the time.

I think he made the mistake of assuming LSU "recruited itself" with respect to Louisiana (and to some extent, east Texas) talent. He figured with those guys "in the bag" he could use his national reach from ND to get even more great players. I think he quickly found out that while LSU has an advantage with Louisiana and regional players, it wasn't a given they would come to LSU without being recruited

It’s a simple opinion. I don’t like it.

The fricking board is called Tiger Rant.

I agree with this 100%. Mascona was pimping him for DC and I think he got the big head a bit and cadillaced over at Florida, and was a bit humbled. Kind of like the Prodigal Son he realized he had it good and came back with an eye on making amends.

This. We also wore white jerseys all but one game per year for 25 years, but don’t do that anymore. Why- because today’s players and recruits like some the alternates. Many of you don’t, but guess what. That doesn’t matter. The players and recruits run the show, now more than ever.

Recruits and players throw up the L all the time now. This isn’t just something Kelly or the staff contrived. If he’s doing it in pics with recruits, that’s just fine with me.

Kinda weird because his offensive staff from the jump had a ton of Louisiana ties.

No, your biggest mistake was hiring Matt House.

He set the program back a few years with that mistake and likely cost LSU a natty run with JD5

He will never have another player like JD5 and that is likely the closest he’ll ever get to a natty.
