So panic & overpay players for immediate success. I’m sure our current players will be fine with that.

I’m sure you know more about it than the people in the building who are building for long term success

How pissed will this place be when Durham and Nuss end up at Oregon?

I said from the start that Kelly was a hire for the previous era of college football and not the NIL era.

LSU probably doesn’t have the money to compete with the richest programs, so why hire a $100M coach?

You’d be better off paying a succession of up and coming coaches and spending the money on players.

You can’t square a circle. They can’t make the impossible happen.

Cut the amount of money you spend on coaches and “people in the building”, and spend it on players. We still won’t be able to pay what the rich programs do, but we’d have a better chance of lucking into a championship.

Great coaches < great players.

This season has been depressing. What a bunch of bullshite. I hate the new sordid, mercenary era of CFB. It's soulless and joyless.

The key to success at LSU is to keep getting the best players in the state

The best dlineman in the state has a multimillion dollar offer from USC

Will LSU match? Doubtful

Agree. Get a 50 million dollar coach and free up 50 million for NIL. Hell we still paying O!

LSU can’t afford to match all the money the elite programs are offering.

When Burrow held up the NC trophy and NIL was in it's infancy, I knew right then. We don't have the money to play in the elite sandbox. But we do have misranked 3/4 stars inside the state borders that if we can lock them down, I think we still make some noise.

If Michigan bought Underwood for $10 mil, there's no way we're in that category and we're absolutely never going to be.

When the class was sitting in the top 3, we constantly seen post that read... "I thought they said BK can't recruit"

...now that the top end of the class is falling apart, everybody is blaming it on the money.

A cheap Orgeron would be a hell of a coach for this era of college football.

He’s a 16 year old & USC’s DL coach is a Nola guy that went to Karr. That’s an exception.

He’ll prob transfer back eventually

We need to hire a HC at 5M a year and use the other 5M on players.

BK isn’t worth 10M a year

If endowment totals are any indication, and they are….LSU endowment is just north of $1B. Alabama is north of $1.8B

All pales in comparison to Tex at $40B
A&M at $18B

Just shows the wealth of the institutions.

It’s an auction. Highest bidder gets the prize… We need to stop calling this recruiting because it’s not.

Discover the amount of money you have to build a roster, prioritize positions, and then spend accordingly.
