I think our defensive front is going to be much better this year. Coaching will be much improved, last year it was abysmal, and freshman will contribute. It was about coaching and leadership last year, not talent. We had 3 interior defensive linemen drafted last month? Wtf We'll know soon enough.

I love this assumption. No one knows if BK “waited”, or if he and others worked their asses off in search of the next right guy. Of course, if Coach Kelly DID make a hire, and he was not elite, you would probably bitch about that as well.

This isn't an assumption. BK admitted that he shoukd have brought in someone to replace Lindsey much sooner. He straight up owned it. Don't get me wrong, I hate the guy with a passion, but he fricked up & he jumped on the grenade. Kudos to him for that.

I doubt he said that. He probably said he should be evaluated after year three, which makes sense but is different. The evaluation comes at the same time as your post suggest, but it considers all three years of performance.
Also, you imply that only his on-field performance in year three should be considered, which is foolish. Along with his year three performance we will consider that he won the SEC West in year one, he had a Heisman winner in year two, and he has the number one class committed.
