If LSU makes a move with Orgeron, he should be our first call. Knows Louisiana and the man can flat coach football.

I actually like Napier and he possibly could win a ton. He can develop talent but imo as competitive as the Sec west is and recruiters like Lane jimbo and sark a stone throw away from our border and the goat in Ttown idk. Scott needs a HR. And he must act fast if wheels come off. ( and we rolling on about 2 lug nuts) Bec more than ever one bad recruiting season to add to the 50+ players lost to attrition from 18-19 and we could be looking at 4th n 5th place finishes for several years to come. Tennessee never recovered. Just saying.

He might be. But the guy beat Nichols by 3. The equivalent to mcneese. Ohio is bad they Lost to Duquesne.
He has had some good years but I am not sure I am sold on him.

Napier is not nearly qualified to be a head coach at LSU. Give me a freaking break.

Absolutely not. Will be a sad state of affairs if he's the first call. Woodward can, and will do better.

ULL does not have near the athletes of LSU…… but wow are they strong fundamentally. And their offense has such great tempo and flow to the play calling. You will be hard pressed to find a better coach than Napier. He will be a super star in the coaching world one day.

"Offense has great flow & tempo". Yea, against the Ohio's of the world. If he's such a great coach, why is his program so poorly supported? Average attendance has yet to crack 30k, more or less. Tonite's crowd? 20k mabe?

Honestly, that makes his achievements all the more impressive to me. Imagine what he could do at LSU with the support and backing of our fan base.

Well, that’s certainly the HC’s fault.

This guy has taken a perennial CELLAR DWELLER and in just a few short years has them competing for conference championships annually. Given some actual resources, he will make a Power 5 program happy for YEARS to come. But we shouldn’t even consider that because he doesn’t check somebody’s box of having been a mediocre coach at Michigan State, Oklahoma St or a failure at Ole Miss?

You didn't watch the UT game and only watched the Ohio game last night, right? They ran the ball down Ohio's throat because their oline physically dominated. I could have called the plays in that game. Run right, run left, qb scramble and find the open guy. It was far from the rhythmic display you describe.

I'm actually thinking the same thing about Napier. Good coach, team is fundamentally sound in all phases. He is winning with a below average QB..... He adjust his philosophy according to his players strengths. I would love him in Baton Rouge.
