Summed up: Sloan and staff really like their QB room. Sloan has been actively looking, but will not bring in a QB expecting to start, get majority of reps or wanting big NIL money.
They are not wanting to upset the QB room they have.
Seems like they are comfortable with Nuss and really like Rickie Collins, but it does not mean they won't look for depth.

I imagine they are looking for a QB Nuss clone. The closest they can find to his game and fit with experience under center. At least I would

That’s definitely a good sign! Depth is never a bad thing but save the NIL $$$ for Underwood!

They did mention Underwood. They wouldn't want to bring in a multi-year starter that would affect Underwood's decision. At this point they seem to be very confident they've closed the deal on him, but it's a long time between now and the 25' signing day so anything can happen.

23' - JD/Nuss
24' - Nuss/Rickie or transfer
25' - Nuss and or Underwood

I hope we land AJ Swann from Vandy. Had some good moments on a bad Vandy team the last year couple years made some wow throws. High school tape is full of tight window throws and he’s accurate and a good decision maker. Perfect backup and guy that could win some games if called upon.

That statement doesn't make sense. They're saying this is the staff's stance. Obviously it was a different situation in 22' when they got JD vs now.
