Someone will probably need to send smalls the actual image file. The image on the front page is probably not the actual file. Could be wrong though.

Check into the timeline for approval both by the company and any potential Birmingham city regulatory issues?
I would guess that a cursory look by the ad company to make sure no copyright is being infringed and no nudity/obscenity and you should be good to go.

They will probably approve it to be put up for the day after the Bama game

That’s why I’m asking. That is the original file. Is the billboard company good with that as their template? Or does it need to be some huge vector thing?

Did anyone actually contact the billboard agency and confirm the prices from this third party listing agency?

My thought is that it's not as simple as contacting them in the morning and having the billboard up by lunch time.
I called Lamar and spoke to the lady directly. She said once I sign the papers and the money is paid, it can be up the same day.

They are a for profit company, if you pay them enough they will have it up for morning rush hour.

What about a billboard outside of NCAA Headquarters in Indy? Mark Emmert needs to fix this!

No when I place ads I just give them a jpeg they do all the fancy rendering.

Just a shadow of a player with the number forty with the word Tigers on the back in the background below the hashtag would look good.

What would the city's role be in this? Lamar already has the permits for the structures. Lamar probably just needs to make sure it doesn't violate laws (profanity, porn, etc.)
People don't pay these companies for advertisements and expect to wait a long time.

Perfect. That’s what I thought. I work at Lamar and I knew we had graphic designers here but not sure of the operations.

This will also get in Saban’s head. Throw a stick in The Process.
