Florida...no matter how good either of us are any given year that game is always a wild card. Both fans hate each other with a passion. I've attended the last 2 games and I gotta say they are pretty damn chippy. Top notch SEC rivalry for sure, I've been to GA FL 3 times and it has never been nearly as aggressive and hype as UF LSU

I will always hate Ole Miss more than anything on earth. Every arse kicking we give them just makes me want more of the same. Dumbass Eli tripping in 03 was beautiful. Them getting roasted by the NCAA for having a hooker loving coach was even better.

It really depends on how old you are as far as the importance of the games in determining a rivalry or not. As far as proximity and the other teams fans being around more often, it's ole miss, even though Texas am is really close as well. As far as a competitive rivalry goes, it's auburn or florida. I would say auburn on the competitiveness bc our games always seem to have implications in the sec west and it could be a tiebreaker at the end of the season due to the head to head match up within the division.

Historically Ole Miss ... A&M. But UF is big

It’s a joke to say Auburn ... only played consistently since 1980s ..

Two greatest wins were v. FLA .. 1997 and 2007

I love the Auburn game ... but that is a divisional standings game .. not a rivalry in the classic sense

Why would you classify LSU/Gumps as a rivalry? Doesn’t the other team have to win, at least occasionally for it to be considered a rivalry?

I don’t consider LSU/Bama a rivalry, but, by your logic, Bama/Tenn is not a rivalry. Nor is Georgia/GT. Nor has Clemson/USCe historically.

LSU’s historic rival is Ole Piss. Our forced cross match with Florida has turned into an actual rivalry. There’s no pageantry, no made up trophy, no real respect. Just general dislike and malice.
