Dropped interception by the Clemson defender or the converted 3rd down WR screen to chase, after Clemson scored, to bring the score within 3?

I believe the Chase screen, much like the hot out route pass (3rd and 9) to CEH during the 3rd quarter of the Bama game was a major shift in momentum and drive extenders that resulted in TD’s.

Any other option I’m missing for bigger momentum swing plays in the game?

I hate to admit it, but it was the targetting call.
Clemson's defense never looked the same after.

ETA: Yeah, I expected downvotes for this one

Definitely the screen...momentum was shifting their way. Shoutout to Saahdiq for getting out in front on that play. He was moving!

The Chase 3rd and 11 conversion Was huge

You can also argue the 3rd and 19 PI on the Clemson DB right before half. If we don’t score there, it’s a different ballgame

I thought the 3rd down goaline TD run by Burrow was crucial.... we HAD TO HAVE a td there bc Clemson was rolling. ANd that was big, afterward it seemed like we really settled down and started executing after that

That was a big play but in a tale of two half’s, Clemson had some major momentum in the beginning of the 3rd quarter, bringing the score within 3, and LSU potentially having its second drive of the half stall.

Nah. LSU's offense was already taking control by that point. That LB for Clemson was a gamer for sure, but his presence (or lack thereof) wasn't going to be the deciding factor.

I think that first run where Clyde ran someone over turned the game around!

I think you may be correct now that I think about it.
Wasn't a turning point, but more of a point of no return/icing moment.

This is true but the Chase screen happened with that dude on the field, didn't it? Just watching the game it felt like the wave was breaking before that targeting call.

We were about to score with him on the field, him being off just made it slightly easier..

There was no "turning point" for this game. At no point would one play going the other way would have changed the fact that LSU's offense would not allow LSU to lose this game. Period.

Biggest turning point was when Burrow decided No Rib Shot will stop me and rode the bike then and took to the field. Their only chance was him being hurt. We will miss him. I feel sorry for Myles. Next year we cut slack to whoever is playing & just reflect. See how when ya get OLD you get off the subject and just keep talking??

Maybe not, but even without the targeting it's still 1st and Goal from the 9.

Clemson's next 4 drives went Punt, Punt, Punt, Fumble while LSU added an insurance TD.

I told my BIL in the dome that the defensive pass interference on 3rd and 19 before half would swing the entire game. Allowed us to continue the drive and get the TD before half.
