What the hell's so bad about being in the top 10 ranking in the country? You love Saban so much, you think Alabama is so frickin' great, make it official. Move to Alabama and become a gump in your own right! Christ is everybody in the state of Louisana losing pride in LSU football.

Let's see if I can bring this down to your level. It's not about Saban. It's not about being in the top 5 or 10. It's about being content to stay there. While you and Les may be content being in the top 10 most of the time, I am not content unless LSU wins the national championship.

Your observation is that Alabama has a cutting edge offense? Bama reminds me a lot of Michigan and Ohio State! I grew up watching Big Ten FB. Also Bama isn't playing for championships every year.

your memory is wrong. Saban lost 4 or 5 games his last year including to Iowa in their bowl. other than '03 saban's teams always lost at least 3 games. his last years recruiting sucked too.
THE FACT IS that LSU football went through it's worst period in the programs history before sabans arrival. the fans were STARVING for a good team. Dinardo recruited well but sucked as a coach, esp on the defensive side (Tepper) and he got canned. Saban walked into a great situation and won 2 SEC's and 1NC. many fans thought they would never see a NC again in their lifetimes. after that, Saban walked on water for many LSU fans. he still does. BUT, he didn't make LSU the premier football program in the SEC and the country. if there was a premier program, it was Florida.
miles has done a lot Saban didn't do. he defeated Auburn when they were great, Florida when they were great and ditto with Bama and Georgia.
But he never gets the credit with some fans and never will. Saban shat on LSU yet many fans still think he walks on water.

frick you. you have no idea what miles is content with and you damn sure have no idea what i'm content with much less anybody else.
just because we don't throw a tantrum when OUR TIGERS struggle doesn't mean we are content. it's college football dumb arse and not every year is a great one WITH ANY TEAM. much less a team that has lost so much talent early to the NFL.
some of our fans just need to leave. go support someother team. go have fun supporting bama, the aggies, fsu. frankly, LSU and OUR TEAM will be better off.
