So then you give abs to guys who might be in future plans, not to guys who can't hit and are only batting .180 because of 2-3 bunt hits.
Of course you do. But PM hasn't done that in 8 weeks so why start now?

We don't have a good option at 2B. Cranford is the better fielder, but neither he nor Arnold have hit well in conference games. I haven't seen enough of Bianco at 2B to know where he stands defensively, but he can be no worse than the other 2 at the plate. I guess you could try to move Dugas into 2B and give Drost/Sanford an OF spot...but I think it's too late to put Dugas back in the infield after playing the entire season in LF.

Yes, yes he can. Than Arnold at least.

I don't think it's too late, but it absolutely wouldn't be too late if Mainieri had followed through on his pre-season comments about having guys play multiple positions throughout the season as a Covid precaution.

The difference between hardly any production and no production is rather minuscule.

Honest question. Why TF can't Bianco hit? Does he just not have it, or, is this a reflection on our hitting coach/analyst?

Yes, too late now that he has literally not played a single pitch in the infield this season. I don't know about practice, though. If he takes balls there often in practice, maybe worth a shot.

Has this been confirmed? I've seen it mentioned a few times, but honestly thought it was just a joke.

I just called the new coach to ask about it....Kim says it is true.

Like I said, we are reaping the benefits of the shite coaching from weeks 1-5. This is where I'm at when it comes to this team:

Tonight should be interesting. Tennessee and Kentucky had a little bit of a crowd in their ear. Oxford is going to be a whole new level for most of these kids. They'll either rise to it or crumble, it won't be anything in between.

I just want a new coach. He's made bad decisions all year. I don't expect that to suddenly change. With Bianco playing this weekend, he gets a nice farewell in the middle of a shite season that won't see anything beyond the SECT.

Arnold and/or Cranford will be gone next year anyway.

I'm not trying to be shocking. I just don't fricking care until PM is gone.
