Has Bianco played short in any scrimmages?
This may be one of the most puzzling moves I've seen in CPM's time here.
This is up there with Tyler Moore riding the pine.

thinking Arnold can't be pulled because of one swing in one game is also stupid.
if they were close (i don't know if they were or weren't) all spring leading up to opening day, one at bat doesn't change that

Only CPM will take a guy who got 2 hits (homer) and replace him and leave a kid at 3B, that we did not hear about all year!

Makes no sense to not have Arnold in lineup. I get you want to see Bianco at SS but then move Arnold at 3B. Arnold earned the right to play today not Helmers. Plus Helmers isn’t going to pitch if he’s in the field

It doesn’t matter if he went 4 for 4. Mainieri said that he was going to tinker with the lineup like he always does at the beginning of the season. Not saying I agree with that philosophy but he’s pretty damm stubborn when it comes to how he does things

Helmers still didn’t hit and added 3 Es. They put Arnold in and he immediately delivers. Just thought this thread aged quickly.

Arnold swinging the bat the best by far. Bianco has no business being on the field, much less SS.
