It would be silly to bet on Fournette. Too many factors. He could somehow be Cleveland's 2nd pick. Zeke is a great RB behind a great Oline. It is really hard to fall in his situation.

Silly question really...Zeke easily. LF will do well and may or may not have a better career. Difficult to predict the future anyway. Injuries, teammates, etc are hard to predict. Zeke hit the jackpot with all that and to his credit, he made the most of the situation. I think LF will not be so lucky (who else is/was) and perhaps can make the best of his situation.

It is too early to ask this.

We do not yet know what team will draft Leonard, and what kind of OL he will have.

But it will take doing to match Elliott, who did run behind the NFL's best lines.

as much as a fan of fournette, id have to go with zeke because of dallas O line as having a better rookie year. dallas needs a better defense. their defense is bout as bad as big 12 defense and damn big 12 defenses suck. only reason why dallas did so was cause number 50 for dallas on defense and the offense. other than that dallas D sucks lolol. geaux saints geaux can the saint pluck out some good ppl from this draft. lsu and bama put out very good athletes year in and year out. will the saints even sniff that ?

Probably Zeke, simply because of who drafted him. If Fournette lucks out and is drafted by a team with a stud oline, I think he can be as good or better.

I'll put it this way

Zeke will have the better rookie year most likely

But if LF7 was in the draft last year he would be a cowboy.

According to Mel Kiper's stupid arse LF isn't worth a 1st round pick, and no RB in this years draft is worth a first round pick. He said Elliott graded out higher than LF and deserved to go in the first round last year. Max Kellerman then asks him what about McCaffrey and he says if any RB deserves to go in the first round it's him because of everything he can do.

They are really assinine and I spelled it right because Kiper is an arse. He also questioned LF's toughness like everyone else is doing right now because of injury. lol They will be in for a shock when they really see what Leonard Fournette is really capable of, his awesome ability to catch the ball was never put on display at LSU because of the lack of imagination offensively with regards to using him as a receiver out of the backfield. Fournette can catch the ball better than some wide receivers, but to say Elliott is better than him and that he doesn't deserve to go in the first round is just stupid.
