The north shore, all the way to the MS River was once part of the Republic of West Florida. St. Francisville was the capital.

For real? You never had to learn your parishes and parish seats in school?

Nope - moved there in High School - Probably a grade school thing. Did just look it up though - Learn something every day!

If you want to piss off a Texan, let them know that they stole the “lone star” from the Republic of West Florida.

Don't get between a football and Devonta - that ball is HIS!

Been following videos and articles on Deveonta. This young man is dead serious. Total workout freak. A grown man. His HS coach calls him a "Freak athlete". When his number is called, Devonta will be ready.

The best are usually driven. I respect this quote from DL, "I'm tired of seeing my Mama struggle. I gotta make it out for her."

Short video on DL -

Glad I could help. Assuming you didn't take Louisiana History in college either.

I agree with the Bama bump up in stars after a player commits to them, especially by Rivals.

Devonta I think will end up flexing out at TE If they don’t move him to D. Similar build to Evan Engram. We can only
Hope he ends up that good

Devonta is a Bona Fide 5-Star in my book. Selfishly, I want to watch him play WR. But he'll ball out wherever they play him.

I know he's stuck on playing WR but he looks average at best there needs to convert over to defense for sure

Average? You have vid of that? I've never seen Devonta look anything but dominant.

He's a great athlete for his build but, realistically, you dont see WR's with his build much anymore.

RB-yea
LB- yea
S- some, but very few

You come to LSU to play at the next level. WR isn't going to be his spot unless he reworks his body down into that 210 range.

You look at a guy with a similar build like Patrick Queen who was a great HS RB, now LB, and you think that is the eventual move for Lee. Playing him as a TE or HBack all but kills his future progression into a potential pro career.

He's not a dominant receiver which is why you haven't heard anything about him in camp maybe at the high school level but not in college he was just bigger and faster than those guys he doesn't have the route running ability and he's too stiff to be a receiver
