Tbh...future LB that Aranda is going to want on that side of the ball

TE and slot receiver is more of a position of need, especially receiving TE. LB and S are stacked, and it’s the offense that needs the playmakers.

Hey Scoop Davis.....most of us who follow LSU recruiting already know of Devonta Lee.

I often wonder why folks who get worked up reading Ree's posts, why read them?
Do you enjoy being pissed?

It's not meant to be a newsflash. It's something they do for Freshmen. Not everyone is intimately knowledgeable about recruiting

Better Know a State: Louisiana

South of I-10 = South Louisiana
Alexandria and surrounding area = Central Louisiana (a/k/a CenLA)
Anything north of Alexandria = North Louisiana
East of the Mississippi River, above Lake Pontchartrain = Florida Parishes
Baton Rouge = Baton Rouge
New Orleans Area = New Orleans

The Northshore is also referred to as the Florida Parishes? Grew up in Slidell and first I've heard of this.

I dont see Lee as a tight end, maybe an h-back if LSU uses h-backs in its supposedly new offense.

I actually think long term safety is the biggest position of need at a position Lee is best suited to play. Delpit and Stevens could be gone next year.

Figuring out where Lee can play is a good problem to have.

He reminds me a lot of Thomas Davis, who played safety at Georgia and linebacker in the NFL. I think Lee is best suited as a safety/linebacker hybrid which would make the optimum use of his talents.

I can see him in the slot too. I think the challenge is finding the spot that gets him on the field fastest.

If healthy this year, that will be on special teams. Jarvis Landry was great gunner on kick off teams and a very physical tackler.

I think it is a situation similar to Stevens. Stevens came in as a five star safety, but when Delpit beat him out, LSU couldn't quite figure out where to play Stevens.

They moved him to wide out and then back to safety. It must have been very frustrating for Stevens.

Unlike Kelvin Joseph, Stevens persevered and emerged last year as a big contributor. His reward will be as a starting safety this year. Not every player can start as a freshman or even a sophomore.

I like Lee on either side of the ball. When I look at all the young wr talent we have now and coming in next year, I think safety is the place he gets on the field the fastest.

After special teams, of course. I think a healthy Lee can contribute right away on special teams.

For real? You never had to learn your parishes and parish seats in school?
