It is pretty hard to digest that this many pitchers at this level just do not have control of their pitches.

I guess if you want to clear the bases with one pitch, that's certainly a strategy

ah yes the walk 2 but don't have the bases cleared is working really well right now.

i don't really trust anybody outside of the starting pitching staff (and even then it's iffy) to throw strikes

No way Jay can use Rizy in remaining SEC games unless we have a 9 run lead

He throws 20 pitches every outing and it’s only one inning, if that. Dude threw 19 pitches and got one out.

Rizy can throw some impressive pitches, except when it really counts.

The bad thing is there aren’t a lot of other options

Rizy has regressed. He looked better last year.

Theo and Garcia were good, but damn. Rizy was terrible. And if Lach does his fricking job, Rizy never gets on the field.

Bats had better be ready next inning.

8th pitcher coming in B-C hitting .345 (10-29) with the bases loaded.

Not how I expected this to be going.

I don’t know what is worse, him or Noot.

Noot gets hit because he leaves the ball in the zone a lot but that’s less frustrating then watching a 97 mph hurler throw it into the opposite batters box every ab

no need to move the goal posts bud. "when it's a 3-2 count and the bases loaded, throw the ball over the middle of the plate and make them hit it" is what you said. That's fricking retarded

because the the spot he's trying to hit isn't just "over the plate"

To this day, I can't understand why people think these guys "can't throw strikes" as if they're just trying to throw middle middle and can't hit anywhere over the plate doing that. This isn't little league.

Pretty sure Ben McDonald is on record saying that MLB pitching coaches have told him that catchers set up in the middle of the plate because the average “miss” is so big that guys don’t try to hit spots anymore
