Shep puts a sky hook in the endzone for a td.

Not only did Shep not fumble, if the refs would have put the ball in the right spot there would not have been a 4th down conversion attempt

Anyway, I think the fact that Shep came in again in the 4th after we were down and trying to score indicates Miles didn't hold that "fumble" against him. Also showed a lot of confidence in him. Randle too. I expect both of them to play significantly more than they have up until this point.

No, this is wrong. In fact, this will be the first game where Shep throws a pass.

This!

You will see him lunge toward the line faking the run then a step back to pass downfield (ala RP). I wouldnt be suprise to see him catch a lateral pass at WR and see him chunk the ball deep either.

I think Randle shows up in a big way.

I agree with the original poster but not exactly how you probably think. RS as has been stated did not fumble the ball... bad call. Of course he did lose control of the ball after being down but anyones guess as to whether Miles is counting that as a fumble against him or not.

But on to the main thing about RS... playing time. He will see some playing time. Probably 8 snaps but most if not all of them will not be at QB. And he throws his first pass... down the field but not from the qb position.

That is what I think might happen anyway. Time will tell.

Why not QB? Because we (The Coaches) don't want to be one dimensional and reading defenses takes time. Something he has little grasp of right now probably. So until he learns more his QB time will be limited. But he is too good to ride the pine so he will play and hopefully fool Florida for a long TD pass.

He should play but he should be used as a decoy as well. He's great, but the D doesn't really know what to do when he's in. That's in part why he picks up a lot of yards.

The fumble vs. UGA was a badly blown call

I didn;t think they ruled it a fumble. The line judge marked the spot where the ball went out of bounds, but the ball was returned to the spot of the tackle.

At least that is how I saw it.

Did they actually ruled it a fumble?? didn't look at the stats of the game.

It was not a fumble - no way it should have been ruled as one.

eta - so, reading the rest of the thread, they must have officially ruled it a fumble. That sucks. I didn't notice the difference in where the spot of the ball was - looked like it was where he went down to me.

how can they miss that one??

The replay was clear... not a fumble. I wondered why the call wasn't challenged? Ga. called a time out so time to decide wasn't a factor.

I have watched it a couple of times and they ruled it a fumble and marked it where it went out of bounds. That was a big play that went against us and also the one where Cox was hit in the endzone and he threw it to keep from beeing talked should've been intinsional grounding. They also missed several face mask penalties. They talk about that celebration penalty and do not say anything about tredon's return of 40 yards also them linning up incorrectly with three players on the right side of the kicker that added anothewr 5 yards to it. Then there is no one that catches Scott once he broke that last tackle so their argument is unfounded. We also was penalized for that same infraction after our score and they did not take advantage of it and they where in their home stadium for them to say that it gave a huge advantage is totally incorrect. If that would've been in DV the noise would have been so loud that no one would have been able to hear anything and for them to say we had the advantage says very little about their homefield advantage.

I say sour grapes and
