I wouldn't call his fumbles ordinary, not taking care of the ball fumbles. Id love to see you picked up and slammed on your back and still hold on to it.

This kind of game is why Shep picked LSU in the first place..

He will play and he will play BIG!

Shep has two fumbles, whether one was a good call or not ... he's got two fumbles on the books.

Not many carries, two fumbles = fumble-prone in my book.

the "fumble" in the UGA game was not a fumble. The ball came out after he was down. You ever heard of ground caused the fumble?

wow, I didn't go searching for stats. Hyperbole is obviously not your strong suit. Stick to curtains and shopping.

I have no idea what this means.

I just thought it was very misleading to claim that "no one is even touching Shep within the first 6 yards" when he is only averaging 6 yards a carry. Obviously, your statement is far from the truth.

He's got talent, for sure, but it's not like he's averaging 10 yards a carry and no one is even laying a finger on him the first 6 yards like you made it out to be.

Yea, I'm not quite sure what part of 6 yards per carry is "getting handled."

I mean you suck a lot on this board. So Shep has 2 fumbles on the books.... how many lost? Hell, Hester fumbled on his very first carry for LSU. I guess we should have benched him forever.

I'm not sure where you're getting all this. I never said anything bad about Shep. I merely said he's fumbled twice in limited carries.

I'm not sure why you're trying to pick a fight that's not there.

But, but, but we have a secret play book we've been holding this whole time for him, of course he's going to play. What good is a secret play book if we never use it?

I agree with Ruger! Both times when Shep was carrying the ball he was undoubtedly body slammed to the ground. One was a fumble and the other was a fumble caused by the ground. Both of these tackles were unnecessary. What's wrong with these players? Is it so hard to bring down Shep that you have to pick him up off the ground and slam him into the turf. If they would have done this to a quarterback it would have been unnecessary roughness. However, if the officials would have done their job correctly, we would have been close to a first down on that carry by Shepard. Thus, possibly putting up 7 points on the scoreboard. Shep will get his carries!

He fumbled once. The fumble vs. UGA was a badly blown call, but nobody wants to talk about that because their too busy complaining about celebration flags.

Exactly. The ground caused the fumble in the UGA game. End of story. If you believe otherwise, you're a moron.

He didn't fumble against UGA.

So it doesn't matter to you if it is actually a fumble or not. It is listed in some book as a fumble, so it MUST be treated as one.

This is one of the dumbest things you have posted in a long while.
