I remember Dalton Hilliard and Garry James being breakaway threats everytime they touched the ball. Now Keiland and Charles Scott seem equally dangerous. Were there any other RB duos as good in the last 25 years?

the ones above, plus Faulk/Mealey.

and didn't Jimmy Taylor and Billy Cannon share a backfield for a year or two?

Dalton-James gang was awesome. I think I enjoyed watching Dalton Hilliard run more than anybody I can remember. He wasn't particularly big or fast, but he could find room to run in a crowded elevator...

It's hard to argue against and backfield that won and NC. So you have to rate 03 and 07 pretty high.

Hilliard and James...a healthy cecil and faulk could have beaten them though!

killer combo. they had 25 TD's combined in '82 (16 by Hilliard, which i think was a freshmen record at the time).

or any of the gangs above for that matter - I just don't see the same power running with them as previous backfields

I still have to go with Faulk/Mealey/Collins backfield as the most dangerous.

I would give a slight edge to this group. They each had a 200 yard rushing game in 1997.
