Live in Cali and able to make a game.

Where's the best place (or two) to park with no permit? Also, when should we leave in order to get one of the spots?

Thanks, I'll hang up and listen.

Okay, let me answer the second part of your question first. The best time to leave is after the game. And if your coming from California, you might as well stay for the whole thing. Traffic will be shite during the game as well as after, so if you stay you at least get to see and finish the game.
Where to park is a not as easy to answer. They have the fields off river road you can usually park in for free. Tiger land as well, but it's a bit of a walk. I wouldn't pay someone to park in their yard. Number one because they try to make as much as they can by expensive arse prices, number two because it's usually in shife neighborhoods, and number 3 you can save that money and just get an Uber and not have to walk from their yard to campus.
That's the best I have rn. Hope it helps and hope you enjoy the game!

Parker coliseum, and I expect a late arriving crowd, so you should still be able to get a spot at 10.

If not that early, old back 9 is free, as well as the levee lot. Levee lot is a hike, though.

If you get out there 5-6 hours before kickoff, spots will be available by the cow palace or u-high area.

But be prepared to hop a curb.

Agree on a late arriving crowd.

Also tons of usually taken student parking will be available with students gone home for the thanksgiving holiday.

I personally always take the Acadian exit, turn left go through three stop lights and park in the neighborhood which is a 15 min walk but takes about 20 min and you on the highway after the game

Near LSU Avenue. Leave after the game and head north to the interstate. May take 15 min to get down Stanford but is the easiest way to get out.

I always recommend people to never park on the river side of campus unless they live downtown or down bright side. You are landlocked by the river with nowhere to go.

If you don't mind the walk, the levee lots are free. I personally have come to like parking here the best, as it's not too bad getting out after the game.

Used to park at the law school. Has that lot been closed off?

You can park at the Downtown Hilton area and take a game bus to the game. They run both ways every 20-30 minutes from hours before until an hour after the game is over.
