I am prepping to travel to Tuscaloosa this Saturday for the game. Does anyone here have advice on where to park? Any other gameday pointers?

Be careful not to park on a sidewalk. You might injure, maim and kill dozens of Alabama fans.

We are leaving BSL at 9am with Bloodys... as always, we'll get wherever we can get and find our tiger fans... that's all it takes. Just go and Tiger Nation will be partying!!!

Is this a good option for heading back to Meridian after the game?

If you are going back to Meridian after the game, DONT use the bus service to the Mall. I made that error one time.

Exit I-359 at 10th Avenue and go north toward the UA. Park either at

1. Tuscaloosa Central HS
2. St John Baptist Church
3. in private yards near St John Baptist Church.

Easiest way to get out of Tuscaloosa and back to Meridian.

I am around the same age and I have not been to a game there either. I have been surprised to hear that the fans are a pleasure to deal with. I guess Finebaum has slanted my impression of their fanbase!

Been many times. About the worse you will experience is a man shaking a pom pom in your face.

I just checked it out on Google Earth streetview and it looks fine. not all new, but nothing that looked like it would be a problem. appears to be about a mile from both the church and the school that he mentions to the stadium.
