+1 - Without a doubt.

Entire student section stood the whole game. Loud, exciting until the end. Stupid penalty gave SC an extra down and then they scored.
Defensive holding on a lineman, if I remember correctly. When is the last time you EVER saw a D-lineman hold???????

The LSU Auburn game where Cecil Collins ran wild...that was awesome...

I was only 1 year old when LSU played USC, so I can't comment on that one.

I thought the 1997 Auburn game was better than the 1997 Florida game at the time. Clutch drive by Dameyune Craig to go the length of the field to win it. Cecil went for 235 yds and Rondell Mealey added 129...

Rushing No Gain Loss Net TD Lg Avg
--------------------------------------------
Cecil Collins 27 235 3 232 2 48 8.6
Rondell Mealey 12 129 0 129 0 44 10.8
Herb Tyler 8 20 4 16 1 9 2.0
Totals... 47 384 7 377 3 48 8.0

Passing Att-Cmp-Int Yds TD Long Sck
-------------------------------------------
Herb Tyler 21-6-2 115 1 38 3
Totals... 21-6-2 115 1 38 3

It was even more amazing when you see Tyler's horrid passing night.

Last saturdays game...may have been somewhat sloppy showing from both teams but the passion in the air was almost tangible...

"Tangible" - yes, I agree 100% - at the time I described them as "palpable"

This past Saturday was like a dream. A friggin' awesome dream. Then you wake up to reality.

'It's now Saturday Night in Tiger Stadium'...

wow, what an experience.

'06 at Auburn by far

The '06 & '04 games were absolute wars. I love low scoring defensive games. Great games.

Orange Bowl to Nebraska in early 80's when Nebraska was dominant. 21-20 it was.

Unfortunately, the call was correct. It was a facemask as two LSU defenders were sacking USC quarterback Paul McDonald. A photo of the facemask grab was printed in the Baton Rouge Advocate the next day. No doubt about it. However, many people said that they say the USC offense jump before the ball was snapped, and the refs missed the false start.

1969 or 1970...Sat nite in TS...against Ole Miss and Archie Manning to go to the Orange Bowl and play Neb and Jerry Tagge and friends...Tommy CAssanova returned 2 or 3 punts that game for TD's! Had a helluva defense that year...Ronnie Estay, Mike Anderson, John Sage, led the nation in run defense to the tune of 386 yards against for the YEAR!!! Cholly Mac had it going friends!!

ABC Primetime...Cris Schenkel and Bud Wilkinson on the call....

LSU - 61
Ole Miss - 17
