Where's the best free parking for gameday on the wesd side of campus near the river? Friends have RV in lot 412 and we are tailgating with them, but driving in separate from them.

I don't have an answer for you but I looked that the parking map on LSUsports.net and there is almost zero free parking left. I ended up paying almost $200 for a pass to park at Alex Box stadium.
I did see that walkons was charging $60 to park in their lot but I am sure you probably have to get there fairly early to park there.

There should be the hayfield lot adjacent to the baseball stadium/rec fields, but it's first come first serve.

Surprised this isn't a pay lot yet.
Thanks

I'd be fine paying $10/$20 for parking in those areas if it meant that the LSU buses would shuttle people back and forth. The walk is a pain.

The Wal*Mart in Port Allen.

Hayfield is your best bet. There's no free parking at Tiger Park unless you have an accessible tag. There's also the golf course across Gourrier from the Box which is free as well.

Good luck at the Hayfield. Took us 2 hours to leave last home game.

I think it actually is a pay lot or overflow lot now. It is not totally clear here. There is a free lot on Gourrier, across from there.

Not all of us are blessed with such disabilities that we flex how easy parking at the games.

Didn't know they had one for long time. Only used it once after someone told me bout it. I wasn't flexing

I parked in Hayfield last Saturday as well. They let all of the pay lots out first so you are at the mercy of that. Game was close so not as many left early. I stayed until the end of the game. I got lucky and was able to get out in a little over an hour.

Hope you weren’t planning on going this weekend.
