Georgia and Auburn are great. Gainesville is the worst.

The UGA coeds I talked to this year said they wanted to do a 50/50 split with LSU like they do with UF.

LSU-Auburn in 1998. First trip to Jordan-Hare, great seats behind the Golden Girls, and a win on the road before the bottom fell out of the season.

I was also tripping balls, so it might've colored my experience.

I think 03 Ole Miss tops some great trips I've been on. I think the thing that put it over the top for me is the unmatched butt hurt from the hottie toddies. Great atmosphere for that game though.

USC 2008

Tailgated in a lumber yard (that was still open) and HATT and the bartenders from Freds threw down there and shite got insane. I remember them playing pregame then thunderstruck and the bartenders running around pouring jeager and crown straight in people's mouths in a mosh pit. The state fair was right down the road in the same area and I turned and looked at the chain link fence and the good people from South Carolina were just standing at the fence, mouths agape, in awe of the crazy spectacle taking place in the lumber yard.

Any non conference game. Washington, Notre Dame, Arizona St, Va Tech all were tons of fun because they were new places to check out. Especially Washington with such an awesome area surrounding it. Bama in 2001, Florida in 2002, and anytime we play at Tennessee stick out as well.

I have a close friend who is one of the most die-hard LSU fans I know. He *still* bristles at any mention of the trip to Blacksburg(sp?). He gives as good as he gets when it comes to opposing fans, but he claims that there was some pretty shitty stuff going down with their fans that year.

Kinda' always surprised at how riled up he gets at any mention of V-Tech; I figured they were kinda' a milquetoast fanbase.

Bama 2005. The takeover after Katrina. Downtown tuscaloosa looked like Baton Rouge as we literally overran that entire shitty strip.

Ole Miss 2003 - very intense atmosphere, SEC West co champs

Auburn 2002 - never had more fun after a loss

My favorite SEC towns:
Athens
Gainesville
Auburn

But those experiences above were very unique.

05 Bama
Udub- beautiful view, shithole stadium (revamped now?)
13 UGA- good times, even with the loss

07 Bama pissed me. Thank God we won. The damn gumps were all smiles as they talked shite about looking forward to the future. It really sucks that they are even happier now.
I don't think I could have mentally handled a loss that night.

I don't remember the year but we lost 31-7 to Auburn. Still good times though, even with a rainy arse whipping.

On a final note- no Bluegrass miracle as part of a great road trip for anyone?

the Bama experience is the worst of all time, Tuscaloosa sucks, the Bama fans suck, the food sucks, the post game traffic REALLY REALLY SUCKS!

I've never understood anyone saying they had fun at Tuscaloosa. One of my least favorite away trips.
