re: Bengals O line plus refs were just too much to overcome

Just rewatched. Still have the same opinion, so did both announcers watching in slow motion.
It is outrageous to make that call on a game deciding play. If you watch any contested incompletion in slow motion it looks exactly like that, and the defender is applauded
Every bengals fan is pissed, the announcers are being awkward, and every rams fan is thinking they are owed a bad call as a makeup call. They all know it’s a bad call

Yeah those two are known for their eyesight. We can agree to disagree. I’ve watched the same thing and I can see exactly why they chose to throw a flag. You may not like the call but it’s still a legitimate penalty if they see that and choose to throw the flag.

Agree to disagree indeed. If that’s a legitimate penalty we don’t have a sport any more

That’s irrelevant

As they usually are. One even said “right there” when it happened on replay and then tried to act like they weren’t sure. I don’t need to rely on them. I have my own eyes.

Perfectly fine call.

Higgins was held on 3rd and goal, no call.
People seem to forget this but want to remember the facemask IMO it evened out. 3 straight penalties for bengals at the end of the Rams GW drive was atrocious...

Yet we still watch and bet

Our boys whitworth and odell got a super bowl, so it was worth it

Hey remember when they threw a flag when it was complete in the back of the end zone and took the TD away from the Rams?
I don't think that was actually a TD. He caught the ball but was shoved and came down on the white stripe. The broadcast never moved the score which usually occurs on a called TD even if there is still a penalty to resolve. I think the catch was OOB and they called the penalties to extend the drive. /shrug.

Bengals OL is Hot Garbage.
how they made it to the SB with that bunch.
Imagine the Bengals with the Rams OL or one of that caliber.

Lol. You guys and refs cheating. Always refs. They literally gave bengals a TD and yet still blaming refs

I agree Bengals OL garbage, but Rams OL didn't look that much better especially running

Yes, if you look at it that way. It was a holding penalty on Rams offset by a questionable hit in end zone to dislodge the catch. Either way, I’m 100% sure there were calls or penalties not made in the first 3 quarters that were made late. Can you explain why they decided to make them on key drive in 4th quarter when possessions were going to be limited. I saw numerous times that players lined up in neutral zone and no call, specifically Donald.
