Lay off the sauce so early in the day.

We lost because we can't run the ball.
We lost because the QB is too scared to take advantage of scrambling to open areas on the field. Instead he panics and throws stupid very low probability passes.

kids been coached by an NFl QB coach his whole life.
he isn’t good enough.
he maybe can be better than this but he isn’t the guy

While I agree about the potential of Nuss, ALL of Nuss’s problems are self inflicted. It ain’t coaching that’s the problem for Nuss.

We say Ricky play
he stalled against Nicholls

Next year get a duel threat out of the portal and develop Underwood if he signs.
Unless at least one, maybe two guys transfer out, that’s not happening. They aren’t paying a hired gun for one year with Underwood coming in. Out NIL is going mostly toward recruiting and if they pay for portal guys, it will be on the OL and maybe a WR.
That said, I could see Collins and Swann moving on. But we still wouldn’t be brining in a guy with more than one year to play, and it wouldn’t be a big money battle QB. Some of you seem to forget that Daniels was not that, either. Like Pennix, he was a guy with potential who had never reached it and had question marks. Both just happened to get past their injuries and greatly improve at their new schools.

Nussmeier just needs to run more from the read option to open up the running game.
This shite again. We run maybe two per game. I agree that’s two too many, but we aren’t running as many as some of you seem to think. Most of the mesh plays are RPOs, not read options. If Nuss pulls on them, it will be to pass, not run it.

Wow!!!!! Post less. Your conclusions are unbelievably unintelligent.

How many times has he pulled it (RPO) and passed? 5 percent? And most of those 5 percent were good outcomes. His decision making is just not good.
He probably needs to stay another year just to develop better decision making skills.
Every one says the OL will be worse next year. I agree that the pass blocking will be worse, but I don't think the run blocking can get any worse. That's why I don't understand his decision for "always" giving the ball up, be it, run option or Run Pass Option. Where does he see "the hole".
On RPO, he has to read the safety, but I don't even see him doing that, he just gives it to the back 95% of the time. On RO, he gives it to the back 99.9% of the time.
If I'm a DC, I'm laughing at that.

Please tell me how those 2 terrible INTs last night were a coaches fault and are examples of a Heisman caliber qb

I would say a huge percentage of those RPOs you’re seeing are just inside zones.
we may have our WR running routes but you can do that to run defenders off.

Idiot! How about a running game to help QB

Here’s an idea too
Tell Nuss if he doesn’t fricking run it he gets benched
Tired of seeing wide open lanes and he just jacks it up 20 yards down the field like he has a blind fold on

You win the title as the most insane post of the weekend. Without Nuss this year it is very possible we wouldn't be a .500 team. Every drop back passer is only as good as his Oline. JD was not very good the year before his Heisman year. Burrow was not very good before his Heisman year. I'm not saying Nuss is Heisman material, but unless he gets some help from his Oline and receivers, he will never be as good as he could be. He'll learn from this loss and get better.
